1. Property Maintenance
The client is responsible for keeping the property clean and free of obstacles such as toys, furniture, or other items prior to each mowing service. If these items are not removed, the service provider may either mow around them or move them, and an additional fee may apply.
2. Scope of Services
Lawn mowing and whipper snipping services are limited to grassed areas only. Garden beds, paved or stoned areas, or other non-lawn spaces are excluded unless otherwise agreed upon.
3. Property Access
The client must ensure full and unrestricted access to the property during the scheduled service hours.
4. Hazardous Conditions
The client confirms that the property is free of hazardous conditions, such as underground utilities, sharp objects, holes, or any other dangers that could pose a risk to the service provider or its employees.
5. Weather Delays
Services may be delayed due to bad weather. In such cases, the service will be rescheduled at the earliest available time.
6. Animals
All pets, livestock, and other animals must be removed or securely restrained before the service provider arrives. If animals are present and the service cannot proceed, the client will still be charged for the scheduled service.
7. Animal Waste
The client must clear all animal waste from the lawn area before each service. If waste is present, the service may be paused or cancelled, and the client will still be charged the full amount.
8. Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice given at least 72 hours before a scheduled service. The client agrees to pay for all services completed up to the date of termination.
9. Pricing
Service pricing is determined by the size and condition of the lawn, mowing frequency, and any extra services requested. A quote will be provided before work begins.
10. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of each service. Accepted payment methods include cash and bank transfer. (Pre-payment applies to one-time services — see point 17.)
11. Late Payment Fees
Invoices not paid within 7 days will incur a $10 late fee for every 7-day period past due.
12. Cancellations
Clients may cancel a service with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a charge of 50% of the quoted price.
13. Property Damage
While reasonable care will be taken, minor or accidental damage may occur. The service provider is not liable for damages deemed accidental or outside of their control.
14. Customer Satisfaction
If the client is not satisfied with the service, they should contact the provider within 12 hours of service completion to discuss a resolution.
15. Limitation of Liability
The service provider is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the lawn mowing services.
16. Non-payment
Unpaid accounts may be referred to a collection agency. The client agrees to pay any associated collection or legal fees.
17. One-Time Services
Full payment for one-time lawn mowing services is required before the service begins.
18. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting a service quote, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
